Reading my Bible, drinking my tea, eating breakfast, riding the subway, serving coffee, teaching lacrosse, making dinner, watching tv, going to sleep. Living each day like it’s normal. It’s not normal.

Proud to be an American who loves people, who loves freedom, who loves LOVE. Disgusted to be an American during a time of horror, war, decimation at the cost of our working dollars. The dollars earned by serving coffee to morning commuters. The dollars earned teaching children how to be better athletes and people. Yet America kills children and prioritizes profit over community.

America is greed. And at the same time America is hope in humanity. Which side are you on?

This isn’t loud enough, but at least I’m saying something.
