Law School
I’ve always been a nurturer, first of myself. At five years old, I sat on a sticky plane seat squished between two strangers. Independence was absolutely instilled in me as I traveled between my parents' houses. Something I was accustomed to, but on an airplane alone, my life felt defined by nurturing myself and making sure I was okay. I became used to changing environments early, but one common denominator was finding something or someone to take care of. I was introduced to noticing and feeling inclined to take care of others' needs at a young age through my big sisterhood and participation in Girl Scouts and the National Charity League. Unsure of my path, but fulfilling my dreams of moving to New York City, as a barista and coach, I once again find myself yearning to nurture and improve others’ lives. I believe the education and experience I gain at law school will empower me to really make a difference. Through the legal system and adherence to our constitution, I hope to nurture and uplift vulnerable victims of the legal system and injustices of this world.
