Uncertainty

Isn’t that what life’s about? The roller coaster of left to right, in or out, employed or unemployed. I recently got the news that my home cafe (where I make coffees) will be closing in less than a month. On Monday we were in purgatory, waiting for what seemed like an obvious decision. It was yesterday that we got the news that we would be closing our doors at Northend Food Hall.

About 3 years ago, Adam and I moved into our first apartment in New York City. It was at Northend food hall where we stopped for lunch in the midst of moving insanity. It was a hot summer day, and Northend was our retreat for an hour. Since then I’ve grown to love being a barista. I’ve grown to love meeting people. I’ve grown to love working- crazy, I know! But, this life was meant for me. I will forever be grateful to Northend for being a landmark in my young life.
